I love Koalas too, as they appear to harm no one, yet have tremendous harms done to themselves and their homes, here on the central east coast of Australia. I can’t help thinking that if our state and national development and planning laws truly considered the Koala’s well being, then, many other species of our beautiful Australian wildlife would also benefit, instead of them disappearing at a rapid rate (which is what is happening now, on the Tweed Coast.)
